LifeDday Privacy Policy

LifeDday (hereinafter referred to as the “App”) strictly protects users’ personal information and complies with relevant laws and regulations, including the Personal Information Protection Act. This App can be used without membership registration, and all user data is stored and processed exclusively within the user’s device.

1. Personal Information Collected

The App does not have a membership registration or server storage function. Only the following information is stored in the local storage of your device:

1) Information Entered Directly by the User

Names (child/family/anniversary names)
Date information (birthdays, anniversaries, expected due dates, etc.)
Optional memos
Optional profile pictures

2) Automatically Collected Information

None (The App does not collect location data, contact lists, or device information.)

2. Smartphone App Access Permissions

The App may request the following access permissions to provide its services smoothly:

[Optional Permission] Photos/Media/Files (or Gallery/Camera): Accesses the device’s photo gallery to register and display profile pictures for anniversaries and family members.
You can still use basic services (such as D-Day calculations) even if you do not agree to this optional permission. You can change these permissions at any time in your smartphone’s settings menu.

3. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

The collected information is used only within the following scope:

Calculating and displaying D-Days
Outputting lists on widgets and within the App
Displaying profile pictures

The information will never be used for any purposes other than those stated above.

4. Storage Location and Retention Period

1) Storage Location

All information is stored only in the internal storage of the user’s device (App local data) and is not transmitted to the developer or any third-party servers.
However, if the user turns on the cloud auto-backup function (e.g., iCloud, Google Drive) provided by the device’s operating system (iOS, Android), data may be backed up to the user’s personal cloud account depending on device settings. This is an OS feature beyond the developer’s control.

2) Retention Period

The data is maintained for the duration of the App’s use.
The data is immediately deleted when the user deletes the App or performs an in-app reset.

5. Provision to Third Parties and Outsourcing

The App does not provide collected personal information to third parties or outsource data processing.

Furthermore, the current version of the App does not use advertising SDKs or analytics tools (such as Firebase, Google Analytics). If these are introduced in the future, we will update this policy and notify users in advance.

6. Procedures and Methods of Destruction

Since this App does not have a server storage function, data is destroyed through the following procedures:

When the App is deleted: All App data within the device is immediately deleted according to the smartphone OS rules.
When using the in-app deletion function: Data individually deleted by the user is immediately and irreversibly destroyed.

7. User’s Rights

Users can manage their personal information in the following ways:

Users can directly edit or delete anniversaries/profiles through the in-app settings and editing functions.
All information is automatically deleted when the App is uninstalled.
The developer cannot remotely access the user data stored on the device, nor can they view or modify it.

8. Children’s Privacy

Although this App can be used for managing parenting schedules, the children’s information entered is data directly inputted and managed by the guardian (parent) on their local device. This information is never transmitted to external servers under any circumstances.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if necessary due to changes in relevant laws or major App features. In the event of additions, deletions, or modifications, we will notify users in advance through an App update or an in-app notice.
